Bartender
Responsibilities:
Crafting classic and creative alcohol and non-alcohol beverages
Efficiently and accurately process customer orders using the point-of-sale system
Engaging with customers and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are sanitized and readily available.
Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage or ingredients
Work closely with team members, including POS/runners, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience. Provide support during busy periods and assist in other areas of establishment when needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bartender in a reputable establishment, demonstrating proficiency in crafting a wide variety of cocktails and beverages
Knowledge of mixology, including a comprehensive understanding of various spirits, ingredients, and techniques.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and connect with customers
Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers, take orders, and collaborate effectively with team members
Excellent multitasking abilities to handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations
Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and cash handling
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Possession of relevant certifications, such as ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS or equivalent is a plus.
Benefits:
$16-20/hr
Pay will be re-evaluated after 60 days with possibility for increase based off restaurant bar sales
Accrued paid sick leave at a rate of 1hr per 30 hrs worked
